 I am a freelance illustrator working in London. I mainly work in children's illustration but have also undertaken commissions in Business and editorial.
I studied fine art at Goldsmith's college London painting large narrative paintings in oils, going on to and continuing to paint portraits and animals in oil, see www.commissionaportrait.com.
Whilst living and teaching English in Paris I illustrated 'Mortimer' By Louise Taylor and there my love of illustration grew. On returning to London I took a short course in illustration at Chelsea School of Art winning a highly commended in the Macmillan Prize for a book I wrote and illustrated, from there I went on to study on an Illustration MA in 2004 at Brighton College of Art.
